Monica Vazquez Hernandez

Electronic Engineering from the Technological Institute of Puebla, studied the Master's and Doctorate in Sciences in Electrical Engineering with a Specialty in Bioelectronics at the Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the IPN. (CINVESTAV). He completed two diplomas at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, one in Science Popularization and the other in Engineering Teaching. He has made stays at the Potosino Institute of Scientific and Technological Research and at the Acoustics Institute of the Higher Council for Scientific Research of Spain. She has been trained in gender issues.

 

She is an Academic Technician in the Department of Computer Systems Engineering and Automation of the Institute of Research in Applied Mathematics and Systems of the UNAM since 2008 and participates in the Commission for Gender Equality of said Institute since 2014. She has been a professor of the subject of the Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering careers at the Faculty of Engineering UNAM and the Telecommunications Engineering career at the Universidad del Pedregal.

 

He has 9 publications in indexed journals, 1 book chapter, 34 in international conference proceedings and 13 in national conference proceedings. He has supervised the thesis work of several undergraduate students and given several outreach talks. She has been trained in gender studies and has a special interest in the interaction between science and gender.
